Individuals are considered homeless if:
- You are sharing the housing of other people due to loss of housing, economic hardship, or a similar reason.
- You are living in a motel, hotel, trailer park, or campground due to the lack of an adequate alternative.
- You are living in an emergency or transitional shelter.
- You are awaiting foster care placement.
- You are living in a car, park, public space, abandoned building, substandard housing, bus or train station, or a similar setting.
- You are a runaway.
